Creating the Sweet Life Come Join Me in the Journey!
We left off last column with me sharing with you the baby steps of how to create the life you have always wanted. I mentioned to you the need to create a master list of everything you are good at and to begin thinking about delegating the less important tasks of living to others, such as cleaning and perhaps errand running. I also asked you to dream big and spend some time thinking about what you really want both financially and intangibly out of life. By thinking this way, you are able to spend time concentrating on the things that you love and are most important to you. Lastly, I spoke about time. The ability to manage time very effectively offers you the opportunity to gain insights on just how precious it is.
I was thinking about just how I spend my time when I received a call from one of my readers that had been down for a long while. A “senior citizen,” she said that “I had more insight to be so young than many people she knew.” She spoke of spending her whole life “expecting great things to happen, but they never came.” Now, after reading my column, she has been inspired and “feels motivated to finally get up and go do something!” I can’t tell you how much that call confirmed for me my work as a writer and my ability to make a difference – confirmation that the time I spend writing my column and even visiting with my readers – is time well spent. I’ve always known what I do as an artist with regards to my work as a photographer and philanthropist was meaningful. I believe that all of my talents have offered me the opportunity to help others grow into their best potential. It is yet another meaningful expression of my life’s work, and I never doubt this “door of opportunity” to be what I have lovingly begun calling “A God Thing.”
After our conversation, I started thinking about the opportunity that I have been given as a columnist with Living the Sweet Life for our sister magazine. I never would have dreamed that I could, through my words, touch so many people. I then turned to this column, and the opportunity that it offers me as well. After much thinking, I decided to create a seminar that I hope will serve my readers better for searching and working towards creating the life you want. I recognized that there is more support needed in the grand plan of doing this than the platform of a column offers. Therefore, I am pleased to launch for 2010 the seminar, or really, an interactive workshop.
Starting this January 14th, I will lead those of you who desire to travel in this journey of self exploration through a series of seminars. It is my hope that the time will be well spent in sharing and supporting one another! We will meet four times formally for a two hour gathering, and then, I will be available for one-on-one consultations by appointment. The fee to participate is $450.00 per session and includes drinks, dinner and all materials.
My success has been achieved by supporting and networking with fellow business owners, and I have reached out to several of my friends and colleagues to support attendees of my seminar. I have asked them to extend exclusive opportunities to my attendees of the Creating the Sweet Life seminar to further support your journey in creating the life you want. In addition to leading the seminars, I am providing attendees with a complimentary portrait session so you will have a new head shot of the new you to promote yourself or your business. You will also receive a 20% discount off the total seminar cost when you book all four sessions.
There are lots of other items being offered through the seminar that will help you along the way as they have helped me create the life I want. From a fitness assessment to a complimentary make-up lesson and hairstyle to teeth whitening, this important support will help you feel and look your best!
So, if you are looking to do something really cool in 2010, and want a bunch of fun people to hang with to support you in your goals and make great things happen, call me and register at 713-598-2207 or email at alisamurray@yahoo.com.
I just know that 2010 will be such an awesome and inspiring year for each and every one of you! I hope to see many of you in the year ahead. In the meantime, keep thinking about all the things you are great at, would do because you love them, and start making plans to Create Your Sweet Life. Come join me in the journey!
In the meantime, like I always say....
Take Care of YOU!
