The presentation requires thoughtful preparation and consideration of all images captured and we want you to be proud of the art you have chosen and exceed every expectation you have for your experience as an Alisa Murray client. Therefore, there are a few things you will need to consider before the day of your session. Please take a stroll around your home and look carefully at your walls, pay attention to spaces over headboards in bedrooms, areas over the fireplace and small shelves and tables where a small petite art prints would be the perfect touch! Measure spaces so you know what sizes are appropriate.

Also make a note as to how many people are in your family that need to receive a special gift like a thank you for hand crocheting a baby blanket or coordinating your baby’s shower. Year round we will be working towards special gifts to give to those Grandparents and Godparents and special people in our lives! A master list will also help make sure we order enough birth announcements, baby’s first cards etc., Holiday cards and invites etc. 

Remember Alisa is a full service studio, so we cater to offering unique specialty items and keepsakes for every taste. In essence, think about this as a long term commitment and treat the decision making time as a unique experience. We look forward to being your commissioned portrait artist for the entire childhood. If you can not make your selections the same day, please contact the studio as soon as possible to schedule your presentation BEFORE your shoot session. We assume if you do not let us know that you will be making your selections the same day and have booked your session time slot based on this assumption.

Each session offers specific poses and use of props that are unique to each session, age of baby etc.  and created by Alisa herself. These poses are copyrighted and have been created after many years of artistry. We do not allow any photos to be taken during the sessions. The use of Videography and cameras on telephones are strictly prohibited. 

Alisa will shoot at every session until she gets all of her signature shots. The time this takes depends entirely upon the temperament of the baby and or child. Alisa welcomes each family at every session to request other poses or shots they have in mind and will, at the clients request, incorporate any and all props, clothes and keepsake’s into that session. Please always feel like you have a create say so in each of  the sessions and be aware that Alisa enjoys doing new poses and stretching her creative mind.
