Everyday you must shoot. The only way to get great is to practice! practice! practice!

Try scheduling a time during each day to shoot one thing and shoot it different ways each day. At mid month switch the time you are shooting it so the lighting changes and after 30 days see which shots, lighting and compositions suit best your eye. This will make you more aware of use of light and composition and will also assist in developing your style!
