Houston Childhood and Baby Photographer Alisa Murray capturing the Signature “Alisa” wall of life shots, the leopard series and of course the “window” 18 month shot. 15 years ago… I was in NYC on location shooting and my daughter looked out the window at airplanes flying around the skyscrapers in beautiful Manhattan. I had loaded Black and White film not my camera at the time and captured her in the innocense of that moment. Along came September 11 later that year and BAM! The significance of the image got way more meaningful for me as an #artist. I decided at that point to capture each child in the Alisa Murray aka. Auntie A family with a similar shot at their 18month sessions and they have been an amazing source of inspiration, hope and childhood promise.
