As a portrait artist for 16 years I have developed particularities about how and when to capture the perfect newborn images. There are specific times of the day, for example as well as certain temperatures that these beautiful wee ones prefer once they get to our earth. It is important when selecting a portrait artist, and please… I am not referring to someone that shows up to your hospital or home with some piddly little camera and claims to do what we as professional portrait artists do. You have to find the artist that has the style you love and that matches your own. There must be a connection similar to why you selected that particular doctor for your baby. They will either be aggressive and what to try new shots and order antibiotics fast or be more laid back and conservative with regards to these things. YOUR PORTRAIT ARTIST should be selected just as carefully. It is in that selection that you will either have amazing images for a lifetime and a legacy for those that have not even been born into your family. Will they capture the true essence of who you are as a family? Who your child will grow into? This can only be done by an artist. I have spent 16 years creating amazing images for each family, starting with their first babies and continuing through their last pregnancies. I have met and captured the grandparents, the pets…many of whom are no longer with us. These images will last forever because I am dedicated to only offering high quality and lasting pieces of ART of YOU.
