Houston Newborn Photographer, Alisa Murray (#alisamurray,#alisamurrayphotography,#alisamurrayrockstheshots!)captures the wee one and newborn portrait. The newborn shoot at Alisa Murray is actually done in two parts to really allow for the new baby to be comfortable and also be captured beautifully. Usually I do a wee one of just the baby around 3-5 days post delivery (mommy and daddy text me a picture from the hospital and announce “Auntie A, they are here!”:)) In that session I capture in about an hour 150 images of just the new wee one!
Then about a week later, I do my signature newborn that I have done for 16 years! Mommy and daddy wear black shirts and the baby’s umbilical cord has dropped and we do the first family shots and look at everything from both newborn sessions to select walls of life installments to the gallery in their homes as well as birth announcements. It is also the time that we schedule for all the baby’s sessions for the entire year!
